Why would he , he'll have Wigan and Huddersfield fighting over him when their coaches leave for Souths and Panthers at the end of this year. He'll be a man in demand! And you know what happened last time the BOD thought that he was wanted elsewhere. Maybe May 1st is the new April 1st?

Surely you have faith that our BOD will search high and low and find the absolute best man for the job? A man who has worked with the best and has a winning mentality ingrained in him, who can impart that to a squad of players and have them performing at their optimum on a regular basis? A man who is a leader of men, who players will sweat blood for on game day and a man who can inspire them to reach peaks they never thought possible? A man who can turn us into a defensively mean, attackingly superior team with a swagger of arrogance about it as it sweeps all before it on the way to trophy after trophy and that elusive first GF win and a wembley win after so many failed attempts?

Surely you can't doubt they'll find him?

The Board and spinster Rule wouldnt lie to me would he. If Rule and the board say he is the best there is then im sure he is

think it might have something to do with having arguably the best player in the eague starting at 6 for him dont you think??
made some shrewd sigings tho has matterson......to give him abit of credit

Three years is not five minutes.

Especially given that he's had three years using the full cap, Matterson has done what he has done with much lower resources.

When it comes to Agar, you simply cannot wait for abilities to come through that he clearly doeasn't have.

OK subconciously I must have been having a go at Agar as I put it on the Agar thread. I was intending though to draw the comparison between the clubs generally. One with great facilities and the other with none. One , apparently spending up to the cap and the other not. One with a "great , young British coach" and the other with an unproven ex Harlequins player at the helm.
The coaches have been in situ a similar time I think and both are longer than 5 minutes. Why have they been able to sign Chase , more insight , Matterson talks a better game , it can't be money can it?
