Craven Park & the City of Hull (not Hull KR) got two games. The idea was that PNG playing twice in Hull would see the city 'adopting' PNG as their team, running in conjunction with ticket offers for both games etc.

Workington host Scotland twice & Leeds (are likely to) host New Zealand twice.

It would have been nice if South Yorks had hosted a game, but it depends on the strength of their bid (if they had one) versus the others. From the articles I've read, both the Cook Islands & NZ have had a positive effect on the communities they've visted there, which is better than nothing.

Its annoys that Widdop is good in the NRL but McNamara will not start him.

While I can see the logic...Donny is less than an hour away and some fans from Hull would have gone there anyway, but you'd have attracted 'new' fans from Donny & Sheffield and given the game a boost there, and its also close to Wakefield & Cas and Leeds & Bradford. But still what's done is done, and i'm sure Craven Park will get a good gate, and as much as it pains me to say it, it can be a good atmosphere there.

Half of the Upper West (towards the South stand) is now open for sale. I take that the mean that sales have at least passed 15K or they wouldn't have bothered opening it.

Shouldn't have been put in the squad to start with. He's a dirty player and there's at least 3 other hookers in the league who should have been picked ahead of him.

Like him or not McIlorum is an integral part of the team who just won the double so not hard to see why he's been selected. Saying that though Matty Smith should have been selected too imo.

Matty smith even bigger part of that team. But Sinfield is being picked ahead of him and Widdop.

McIlorums been picked solely on who he plays for.

Matty Smith is probably the best English scrum half in the league apart from Brough.

McIlorum isn't even the third best English hooker.

So McIllorum has been licked because he plays for Wigan.
But Smith, who you rate as a more important member of that team, hasn't been picked despite playing for Wigan?
