I hope Orr stays well clear of Hull. I would like Hull to be more forward thinking. But that's never going to happen.

orr bad signing in my opinion..another thorman in the making...well past his best and will be comanding good money.....we should be strengthening other areas in my opinion....lets be honest if we sign orr, what does that say for horne??????? injury prone at 29? get rid if the case may be, on too much money for a guy who has been average at best last two years, in adversity no doubt(diabeties etc) but, not doin it on the pitch on a consistant level for £100k+ a year....i'll tell you know the aussies wouldnt stand for it...he'd be released and looking for a superleague team asap....

well past his best....was good 10 years ago when we first showed some interest, then he foooked of to wigan for the $$$$$$$$$...bad move...never been any good since as many others havent..such as clinch,doc murray,etc etc etc...

and his best was pretty damn average.

If Orr came we would still need to replace Long for 2012. We'd then probably be looking at replacing Orr for the 2013 season and quite possibly Horne the year after that.

It's a hell of a lot of disruption in the half backs.

I think both long and horne are OOC at the end of 2011. My concern is that we'll struggle to find 1 half back, let alone 2, so will re sign horne

Need to use a quota spot for one in 2012 - at least one of Fitz and Berro will leave by then I'd imagine, so a fair wedge of cap to spend.

Until Expro says orr is coming I won't believe it , we do need back up at 7 but think we could better than orr because they will end up playing quite a bit with longy or horney injured

I doubt it, what decent 7's are there available? Never mind those who'd be willing to come as back up, no matter how many games they 'might' play. ATEOTD, as proved by Wigan, signing someone like Danny Orr (i.e. Deacon) can work well, on the right money he'd be a great signing IMO.

Well if Fitz, Berro, Horne, Long and Radford to name just 5 are all OOC after next season we could see some major re-structuring of our squad with plenty of cash spare. I'd prioritise an Oz halfback in his prime with a good injury record.

Lauaki as well I think. Half back and a big pacey centre for quota spots please.

centre will be an interesting one by 2012. Tom Briscoe and Craig Hall may have established themselves by then. One thing for sure is that we wont have developed a 7 from our 20s.
