I was merely praising Mr Frepper for a magnificent bite. It was quite congratulatory and contained a smilie. I thought it was a nice gesture, made with sincerity and kindness.

Considering we are NOT a top 4 side yet, IMO ,Our recruitment has been very very good.

Why are people constantly having a go at AP for the way he does business??? Firstly he is the best thing that has happend to OUR club in years, he has vision and a desire to succeed not like the last board. Secondly its is HIS club and the way he does business is up to him, most of it is done behind the scenes and only comes public when someone leaks the information. Yes he slated our half backs...so..he said what he thought, makes a refreshing change to see someone been honest. Im sure he has spoken to those players and what he expects from them.
If you are that p*ssed at him i would suggest you find another club to support as imo fans like this are not wanted at the club and their views only seem to stir trouble. Be constructive not negative ! If you are a true Hull supporter you should get behind AP, PG and the team and not put ridiculous comments.

We are finally moving forward, with a good coach, back room staff, building a good team and investing in better facilities for our youth so we can bring through more of our own. And people moan about AP !!!!!!

Ellis and, to a lesser extent, Holdsworth are decent signings, the rest are mediocre & gambles (although Gentle's gambles have paid off so far).

As it stands, that right edge looks quite weak with Seymour, Arundel & Crookes out there. That won't strike fear into anyone.

It'll mean that in attack, Hull will continue to have that overreliance on their left hand side (which IMO is slightly weaker (in attack) following the loss of Manu) and that right side targetted in defense.

The squad as a whole is better than it was last season. Had we not thrown two games away that we should have won easily, we would have finished 4th. It was that close.

Nobody else has strengthened significantly. If we just get a little more consistency and/or better luck with injuries (just a normal number rather than the catastrophes of recent seasons) we should be looking at a 4th place finish IMO.

The right hand side will also include Ellis, plus Arundel is an excellent defender. No halfback is brilliant at defending but Seymour proved last year he's one of the better ones.
As for the attack, well most teams go down their left due to it being easier to pass that way for right handers.

Most clubs between 3rd & 7th could look back at a couple of games atleast where they should have won.

I'd agree that the squad overall is better, there's a lot more depth, but there isn't a massive improvement (if any) in that first choice 17.

I agree with the easier for right handers point to a degree, but the way Hull are set up, there's a huge gulf in class between the right & left and has been for a while.

How many tries have Briscoe, Yeaman & Manu got between them compared to their counterparts over on the right?
