Apparently Radford said today there could be some surprises in selection. Given I think 5 players are named who've not featured in pre season I guess some of them may miss out? Some quality in that Huddersfield team. Wonder whether Connor will be given the role of winding up Brough?

.. LR said that a couple of players are in the 17 who he wouldn't have expected 3 months ago.
Unless he drafts someone else in, I can see any real surprises in the 19 man squad.

Ah OK. Hudds able to put out a very strong squad though - just 3 out?

I used to skip out of work about 15 minutes early to get to games and then I was given some extra hours a few weeks back, still leaving at same time but will mean I am leaving about an hour early! And now the games are kicking off early, jesus, seems to be so many things making it more and more challenging for me to get there, still shows my dedication to the team!!

A tear? I would hope for you guys he means a strain or pull, even a slight tear your talking at least a month to be back to full fitness.

Googling suggests "a strain is when muscle tissues or fibres are stretched or torn", so the terms strain and tear are interchangeable.

A torn hamstring is a very common expression, and strain, I suppose, suggests it's less severe.

I guess a lot depends on how long ago they suffered the injury.

the biggest is obv the centre wing partnership of cudjoe (club captain) and mcgillvary our top try scorer and metre maker.

Would Mellor get into the 17 and Mcgillvary is in the squad isn't he (Although I know he is a doubt).

Don't think never team can use any excuses for this game.

mcgillvary wont play.

Masi deserves his place Turgut not so sure but maybe this is his breakthrough year.
Abdull on the bench gives Radford an attacking alternative if things not going well but as you say a very inexperienced bench.

Clunky first half as expected with a load of players not featuring in pre season. Discipline causing us problems.

First 10 we looked ok, denying then ground, making metres but the penalty goals stopped the momentum and gave them a lift
