I'm sure I read somewhere, that Richard Swain said that FC were the club that treated him the best in all of his career. Considering some of the clubs he had played at, that is some statement.
I reckon when Fitzgibbon goes, he will be a great ambassador for the club when it comes to future overseas signings.
I'm sure big Willie will put a word in for the Dobbins.

Swain was interviewed in a match programme recently and said that his time at Hull was the most enjoyable of his career. He doesn't follow the game down under but keeps track of Hull's progress via Andy Last and, funnily enough, Peter Sharp.

As for Seymour, looking forward to an announcement within the next few days. Good to have the squad taking shape with plenty of time for visa applications.

The rule seems to be criminal convictions are a no go, which can include driving offences. However, it would seem likely that if Mason, with his amphetamine/brothel/al fresco peeing portfolio of transgressions can get a visa, Seymour should [uprobably[/u be OK. Quite unpredictable, though, the whole thing, and not a done deal until the documentation arrives.

listening to agar he basically confirmed that seymour has signed so looking forward to the announcment when its made. if we can make a couple of good signings for the pack then we have a much stronger squad next year then this, thumbs up for the recruitment so far for me.

Nice words from the Warriors' CEO. Seymour seems to have turned his life around after a few off field issues.

exactly im not concerned the slightest about seymour could go very well for us and POTENTAILLY could be 1 of our best signing for a long while since swain.

I think Seymour will really make a big impact on us, but I hope this doesn't mean Ellis is shoved in the 20s as I think he's ready for SL if he trains hard in the off season

ellis shoule be dual registerd out unless of course theres injuries or lack of form from either horne or seymour

can't see much point in him being signed if he's dual registered straight back out, I can't see him being on the bench for the odd game either if Houghton and Heremaia are interchanging at hooker

Seems to me the origninal play was to keep long for another season and use obst and ellis when he was (invariably) injured. long's injury has thrown a spanner in the works and forced us to look at options and seymour was available. For me it can be the only reason for us signing ellis, heremia and seymour when we already have houghton, obst and probably horne

think horne will get deal. Personally im not concerned about the abundance of halfs we may have! was more concerned with the lack of in recent years!!!! working for hudds having multiple choices in the halfs and hooker positions!If ellis is good enough he will get to play 1 way or another.

Horne's been in very good form this year, he definitely deserves a new deal

2 years ago we were raiding the Roosters for 2 greats of the game in O'Meley & Fitzgibbon. This year we've raided the Warriors for Seymour & Heremaia!!

i think its a good move to sign seymour,we cant afford to go into next season with an injury prone long and ellis who looks a good prospect,but is after all untried at sl level.

when its confirmed then it will be a great signing and could be the best signing weve made since bringing in swain POTENTAILLY
