He has two years left easily possibly three. However can't see anyone moving for him next year other than a one year deal. If he came to Hull this year he can get a 2 year deal with an option for a third.

If he has any sense at all, he'll be making it quite clear to Mr. Hood that he wants to come here. Like has been said, at his age it could be his last chance of a decent move.

He could get himself a two year deal and an option of a third with us, he would be better off financially and he'd have much more chance of actually finishing his career with some silverware than he would have staying with a very very poor Bradford side.

Why would Bradford let him go for 50K?

Even if he is out of contract next season what is Bradford really benefitting from in letting there best player go for what is equal to a squad players wages?

If he does sign for such a low fee it will be because Bradford have respect for the players interests. Even though it may have consequences for season pass sales

Lets hope they can sort it. He is a quality prop and if we want to get up to the top four of the league then sometimes you have to pay a little over the odds to get these players signed. Once your actually fighting for silverware etc you can attrach OOC players on lesser terms.But we need to show we will be up their fighting.

Let's face it, Pearson is used to paying £500k-£3m mark in football for championship players. He has already said that he us willing to spend on quality players, £40-50 will be nothing in terms of what he's used to in football.

Everything is relative, though. He could spend millions on football players because football clubs generate so much more and players can be sold on to generate transfer funds.

Exactly, that 40k would not be recouped in any way, although the flip side is that he could be an integral part of a winning squad.

I did put the flip side. Like i said earlier if it is a low enough fee then fair enough but think some clubs may try to take advantage in their pricing of players due to AP being a football man. I would hope McRae would be telling AP what the top price is we should be paying for a player of Lynchs Age & Pedigree.
At the end of the day Lynch has looked good in a poor team how will he fare in a decent side?

Why on earth would a DOR tell him that when you don't have an overseas spot, there are few/no quality props coming off contract and you are looking at Dowes and Radford as starting props for next year? McCrae's job is to get the best squad he can for Gentle to work with and telling Pearson to put his money away is not the way to go.

It is all relative, but pearson has to put less money in to get more out. Buy a few great players will cost less relatively to football to make a big enough difference to succeed and get more bums on seats.

He is willing to spend money because he knows it will pay big dividends on the pitch and in the stands.

it is exactly what McRae's job is, if he thinks Adam is "having his leg lifted" with a valuation of a players then I'd expect McRae to say "not worth it".
