Hull definetely don't have anywhere near the quality of the "big 4", Saints have recruited brilliantly and think Hudds will struggle to be as consistant as they were last year but make the 6, as will Salford because of there recruitment. Think we will definetely be the best of the rest of that mid to bottom group of clubs. Catalan will sneak in the 8, don't really rate them but there home form should be enough, Rovers and Cas will struggle due to losing 2 of the leagues best players in Dobson and Chase and not signing suitable replacements. After that not really sure, Widnes are a poor side especially with losing Hock but given them the benifit of the doubt over Bradord, Wakey and London due to there financial situations, likely to possibly lose players maybe.

The Rovers thing us just silly and made up for Hull fans, a couple if months ago they paid a fee for Cockayne and gave a big salary to Poore, not exactly the signs of a team about to go into administration.

Sure sounds like the Bradford plan of failure. Sign players etc even though not enough money to pay everyone. Not saying that it is true but clubs paying a fee for a player etc means nothing.

I like Clarke, but he has gone nuts.

I'd be surprised if Salford in the top six.

He wants to put a bet on, he will get good odds.

They have a decent 17, although still not as good as any of the top 5 from last season and a few injuries and they will fooked.

They have more chance of not making the play offs than a top 4 finish.

Whilst I'm not agreeing with Clarke's prediction, if the squad gels, fairly quickly, if we don't have too many injuries and if the hotheads can keep their cool, the first seventeen could win the title. It's a long shot, but in terms of individual talent we probably have the best half backs in SL, a second row that could rival any other clubs' and, as Wigan proved last year, the sum of a teams parts are more important than it's individuals.

That's not to mention, if the SL website is correct, Morley still averaged more meters per carry than Chris Hill last season, and we now have the power of Lama Tasi. Our backs might not seem the most electric in SL, but all will do a solid job and as long as they can run some good lines, we'll score tries.

There is no way your 17 is better than Leeds, Saints, Wigan, Warrington or Hudds.

I dont' agree with Chase and Smith being the bext halfs, Chase is great (although might not work in Noble structure), but smith is average, looks great in a poor Wakefield team, but failed when he last played for a top team in Wigan, also two of the worst defenders in SL, which teams will target. I'd take Wigan, Hudds and Warrington halfs before yours.

You have a good pack, but again not as good as the top teams.

Key area is hooker and that area will let you down next season, as you have two average hookers plus Owen (who I rate), every team who finished in the top 8 last year have better hookers than you, it's such a key area.

Salford fans are getting way above their station when they look at their team, too many going on past reputation rather that recent form.
