It claims Lynch has already agreed to a two year contract, sounds like a done deal to me.

IMO all rovers signings are a downgrade of the ones their replacing.

Without Dobson, rovers won't finish in the top 8 next year.

That's a good point people are missing. Rovers' recruitment might currently look better than ours, but their departures also look like much bigger relative losses than ours.

For next year, probably. Could work out for the best in the long-term, though.

And.....are you happy that Rovers are able to consistently sign better players than Hull FC? I'm not saying we've signed crap year on year but we certainly seem to buy our fair share of cap fillers.

You seem to agree with your response that they have signed better calibre replacements than us this year. Granted that their replacements have mighty big shoes to fill but I've only been impressed with Paea so far. We lose O'meley, Tickle, Briscoe, Lynch and O'meley is the only player with a like for like replacement so far.

Consistently?..who,the likes of Mason,Withers,O'hara,2 big puddings of props whose names fail me and could go on...the only signing i would take of Rovers over the years is Dobson...the rest,no ta.

I'd hardly say that calling him 'average' and 'an underwhelming signing' constitutes abuse or 'tearing him down'. Both are perfectly valid opinions.

Personally I couldn't care less who Rovers sign. They are not the benchmark.

And let's not forget our recruitment isn't finished, and also that one if our signings is Rovers best forward.

I wouldn't have minded the Galea they signed, either.

We are losing better than what rovers have signed..in the pack anyway.

I would have taken Dobson, Newton, Webster, Lovegrove, Paterson & Green over some of our signings during the same period.
