In the second row where he is now. 
Ellis on one side, Whiting on the other, we now have two smart players in positions where decision making in defence is crucial. We've been complaining about dumb players for years, these two are not and it shows in our much improved defensive line.
For all his ability Westerman is not a smart player and makes errors in defence that contribute or directly lead to opposition tries. Tickle can be the same to a lesser extent. |

For me Whiting offers more in defence than Westy and his backing up is excellent but Westy has a lot more ability on the ball but it's a nice headache for PG to have and then two plus Eliis would be my three second rowers and Pitts at 13. Tickle, Galea and Kent have a lot of work to do but two are going at the end of the season so the first threeare our priority.
