Yes, was told before the game yesterday that Manu has told the club he would like to come back, and he isn't enjoying his rugby at Saints. The club are very open to the idea, but time will tell if it happens.

He didn`t want to go in the end . Shame he didn`t sign the offer straight away. The potential of Ellis and Manu in the back row would have been OK !

You're right mate, he didn't. After he signed the deal with Saints he told us he'd made a massive mistake and wanted to stay. Hull wouldn't have been able to do anything, but had spent his salary elsewhere already anyway.

Think the club would be willing to pay a transer fee, as he will probably come back on a lower deal.

I know Willie was upset he signed for Saints too early . His Tongan friends in Tevita , Sam Moa and Lauakai left the area. I played touch 2 years ago at YPI with Tevita running the games. The Tongans above and Motu where always there helping out and playing as was Willie.
They are a very tight knit group.

A small fee plus Tickle maybe ? That is what I`d go for . Tickle obviously is waiting on his options West of the Pennines.

soward would be out of this world good age quality kicking game very quick and good leader be very hard to persuade him to come to sunny hull though instead of that dull cold Australia

Soward would be a great signing but I could only see him been linked with us to get a better deal within the NRL . I would Love to see Manu back .

Haven't heard anything on Carvell or Soward. Pearson is willing to pay big for our other half, we will probably go for Soward, whether he comes is a different matter!!

Regardless of Seymour going I don't see who we could get this season realistically. As for next season I am sure we will go all out for another halfback, at this stage I doubt we are close on anyone.

With Manu, if something can be agreed, now. Can't see it happening this year though personally, next year there's a good chance. I'm undecided though, he isn't playing well this year but now we know why. Next year he's a year older though.
