The earlier part of it probably does, but there's no way he deserves a testimonial. I fully understand his decision to spend the best part of his career at Bradford, but I don't see why he is entitled to a testimonial for coming back to us when he was effectively finished.

It's not a club testimonial. It's a general RFL one for 300 first grade appearances.

I think a lot of people have missed this and hence some of the comments.

100% Agree. As for "my favourite radders moment"... The minute that I heard he'd been persuaded to retire and I'd never have to suffer watching him in a Hull shirt again.

I don't agree with any player who hasn't been at one club for 10 consecutive seasons getting a testimonial, whether it's a club one or a RFL one.

Loyalty to one club is what it should be about for me also. Horne, King, O'Hara etc.....

It might be a decent game tomorrow which is a shame because I won't be going to it.

Never stood out as an outstanding player for Hull FC but one things for sure if I had to have a player beside me in the trenches during a war it would be Lee, safe to say you couldn't count 10 players like that to have ever played in the super League.
Always been a solid player for Hull, never took a backward step and always gave 100%....

Best Radders moment..... Being in his dressing room in the moments after he won the prizefighting night. Seeing his lads and wife and the pride on their faces was special.
To all those knocking his testimonial.... Remember this, RL is a fast, brutal career..... if any of you can say that you would've knocked back a much larger payday during this career then i'm guessing you are telling slight porkies ain't ya?

I don't know of a single person who has said that. What people have said is that he (or anyone else) shouldn't be entitled to the best of both worlds. If you chase the money during your career, fine - RL players have a limited shelf life and have to make as much as they can before retiring - but testimonials should be reserved for those who stay loyal to one club.
