| People are quick to point the finger at the Council I have has dealing with the Council
over the sale of the Bus Company ..The Leader of the Council would have got they Legal team in
for advice .That team would have seen through any deal that was put on the table which was nothing
When we look for buyers for the Bus Company the Legal team told us what was for sale and what the Council would do
to get a deal The town garage was not apart of any deal (We Known now)But land would be given to build a new garage for the buyer (Foster Street )Every meeting we had the Council Legal Team was there to over see the sale

| Quote ="Jake the Peg"city fans are blind to the truth of this. If duffen/bartlett had owned the stadium then likely Hull FC and city would now be paying a significantly higher rent to some bank for the use of it. Any lease we have would be useless if the company who we had teh lease with was liquidated'"
Our lease is with the stadium's owners - the Council - not the estate managers, the SMC.
This is why I trust that if Geraghty says Allam could get us out after 15 months he, as a representative of our landlords, is probably in a position to know if our lease agreement maybe has a loophole or two?

I wish we could trust that he'll be true to his word but his record isn't great!
The reality is that sadly for us and the people of Hull all his eggs are in the KC basket. The Melton scheme won't serve his purpose, nor will a Sports Village in any other part of the city. That's because he has no intention of building a Sports Village. His sole intention is to acquire the stadium and the commercial lands around it, borrow against them and/or build on the land for his commercial gain. With some of the profits he will invest in Hull City, take it to the Premiership, and sell a healthy top class club for an astronomical amount.
None of this is possible without the stadium and the land. That's why we've heard far from his last word on the subject. I think he'll first threaten to move to Melton. When that fails he'll use the media to pressure for a referendum. If that fails he may come up with a new strategy to approach the council again. lastly, he'll wait for the inevitable change politically on the council, and hope for Lib-Dem control next time. I can see him funding their election campaign plans, tbh, in exchange for a more favourable response when they're back in office.
He cannot stop until he has the stadium. Otherwise he's bought a white elephant that will cost him money to maintain, not bring him the fortune he envisaged. If a stalemate still exists after a year or two, he'll sell City.

| Quote ="major black"how can anybody take the Allams sport village seriously.
1 They didn't realise we already have an ice rink. So they scrap that idea.
2 They turn up to a meeting to get the KC and surrounding land for nothing with no plans/drawings of how they plan to develope it.
3 Terry Geraghty asks if they realise the cost of running an Olympic size pool. when he enlightens them they decide to scrap that too. Leaving a multi storey car park, squash court and half a dozen shops.
4 part of their half ar$ed plan is to aquire £20 million through the sports council, 20% of their annual funding. Get real.'"
Brilliant!
Of course, the Allams don't take the idea of a Sports Village seriously, either.

| If, by some miracle, the Allam plans were to go ahead, an extension of the KC Stadium to 40-odd thousand would surely be a disaster for Hull FC?
Let's be honest, 12-15000 fans rattling around in a stadium which could hold three times that is not conducive to a good atmosphere. Then there would be the associated disruption, the inevitable rise in costs etc, a possible re-negotiation of the lease etc!
So why does Adam Pearson appear so desperate for the Allam plans to go ahead?
Is he just a paid puppet to get the FC faithful 'on side'?
If not, I honestly think he needs to cut his with Hull City to avoid a conflict of interests!

However, all of the evidence i have seen of him so far is that he has followed up his plans and put his money where his mouth is. University, Hullensions, Hull City, Rovers etc.
Maybe im too trusting!'"
I would'nt trust Allam with a bargepole, god knows what hidden agenda he has concerning Rover's.If i heard right in his interview,he said he gave one million pounds to Rovers as a sweetner to play at the KC.If i were you i would be very concerned and worried about Allams intentions involving HULL KR.

typical of red 'n' white Blunderside to put it on at 5-10
