They get to come to SL in the 1st place which they may not be able to do if we dont want them to on a one year deal. It could be their big break. As well as that the pre-agreed 2nd year option would be to the benefit of both the player and the club. I'd ensure it was an increase on year 1 but not as extortionate as it might be if they signed a 1 year deal and attracted other clubs.

As said, the main thing is the opportunity in the first place though.

I was speaking to Jimmy tonight at the shop and he was spot on...

I was sorting out my preorder for the away shirt and he came across and asked me what i thought about the new shop...

Anyway, i asked him about transfers. I said 'i know you won't give me names but are we done with signings or can we expect any more?' his answer was: 'Absolutely, we are talking to a couple of players and a very close to finalising them, expect something to be announced later in the week!!'.

He was spot on tonight as always, and the new shop is great!!

Not exactly what he said On Humberside when he indicated they were just about up to cap, but did not rule out half back cover. If has been reported in Cas the Westerman deal just came to fruition in the last 7 days, then things will have changed cap wise quite significantly.

Robinson's value will have gone through the roof now.
We have 5 or 6 players to cover the halves but the only specialist is Nicklas, if Agar gave him the games when needed instead of putting someone else there I'd be quite happy with that.
