Horne has, quite rightly IMO, been given a run this season to see if he's overcome the problems that dogged him last season. What will be interesting is what happens now that it seems he is either not fit or hasn't overcome those problems.

I could live with that. Might be tempted with Washy on the bench instead of Houghton.

Of course he was correct to give Horne the opportunity to prove himself after his recent problems. The shirt was rightly his to lose but, for whatever reason, he hasn't done enough to keep the shirt and RA, whether he likes it or not, has to do something about it.

Spot on......we have depth now and Agar must use to prove he is a good coach...if not it will look as though he hasnt got a pair to drop the big names.

A major problem was last season all the attention was on Thorman, Horne never played well either. Now that is what worries me Agar must have seen that, unless because he was given a 3 year (very healthy) deal, they just hoped he would find his form!! worrying.

I won't start another thread, but is it going to be the usual arrangement, with regards to the "Away" stand being closed, on Friday night?

I thought the 3000 tickets for local rugby teams where for the North Stand?

It will be closed but don't worry because the club has opened a third dug-out for fans.

the north stand is the allocated away stand, though the club are giving away free tickets to juniour rugby clubs in and around hull for the quins game, so maybe worthwhile sticking to the west

We have already given our youngster them and told them it is in the North Stand

I'd put Hall in the halves to start and Swap with Turner or Washy if it goes Maiava shaped.

Would you play him in the reserves? He seems to lack in confidence at the moment. I know he's had serious health and injury problems but I agree, its nigh on 3 seasons since he's performed at the high standard he used to.

I would concentrate on getting him 100% fit, his knocks, his weight, his fainting problems at training and decide from there..

TBH it is a very sad situation for Horney & the fans, Agar is doing him no favours at the moment playing him as he can clearly see what we all can
