There are two reasons why I dont think we have turned the corner:

1) For 75 minutes we were the better team. Playing better rugby, looking more committed, more passionate and more enthusiastic than our opponents. Yet we still could not win. Rovers were poor on Saturday and with our performance we should have spanked them. Our gameplan is still very poor and the only reason we got trys imo was because we didnt stay within the structure, looked too unorganised and it nearly worked for us. With it not been such an inspiring game next week I cant see the same thing.

2) Saturdays game was similar to the second half of the derby game at the KC, just without the better style of rugby. Yet 2 days later we got tonked at Saints then lost at home to Wakey, followed by an uninspiring win at Salford. We beat Cas with an inconsistant display but then started to produce some of the worst rugby I've seen in my 8 seasons as a supporter.

It's going to take alot more than 75 minutes of a derby game to convince me that things are getting better

Can't see why no-one is mentioning Briscoes injury either. With him out so early in the game we should have stuffed them - still not good enough for me.

I can only assume that from that distance they didn't know it was Briscoe? Shouldn't really be doing it to any player (well maybe Cooke) but I'd be surprised if people knew it was Briscoe and still did it?

The east stand seemed very quiet on Saturday actually. Either way I doubt the fans on the South terrace could hear you at full volume.

If I was you lot I'd be very worried about Friday, you may have been the better team for most of the second half against us who were playing pretty badly but you weren't the better team for 75 mins anyone who thinks so hasn't rewatched the game in an objective frame of mind. We were comfortable for the majority of the first half and our kicking game had you pinned back. The injury lay up came at the right time and we started to believe our own hype and thought it was a formality and you lot threw caution to the wind and played offload rugby that on another day wont come off.

Huddersfield are the form team of SL and to be honest I'd rather play any team before them including saints or Leeds (who aren't firing at the mo') your only hope is the semi the week after and they rest a couple, barring that it could be a long night.

I find it funny how there explaining "Rugby" to us, we played badly and still won bla bla.

They've done nothing in this league to even be that patronising.

If we had been on top for 75 minutes of the game we would have won. All games have changes of momentum and Saturday was no different, however, over the course of the game we were the better team IMO.

If they reach the play-off Semi that would be a brilliant achievement for them IMO. Its more likely, however, that they will possibly win 1 game in the play-offs.

If you read my original reply I think I said pretty much that, what i was stating was hudds will be a different prospect and edging out us in that form will no way be good enough to get close to hudds.
