He'll stay but with some major conditions like curfews and being assigned to a senior player to help keep him on the straight and narrow. Tbh I dont even know why its causing all this bother tbh as i think he's just another average player who turns it on occasionally but as equally turns it off. Its a sad enditement of the teams predicament that were worried that a player of Jordan Tanseys calibre may be sacked and leave us with no real playmakers.

I think the opposite, I think if he was staying there would have been an announcement. Also if he has been sacked he will have a right to appeal etc which will take time.

I'd make move to hull, I'd also breath alyser him every training season. As well as have him in councilling.

I don't know how a senior player would feel about baby sitting him though.

The counselling is a good point, I know our business offer counselling for drink/drug problems if neede. However they would have to determine if he had a drink etc problem or just an attitude problem, I suppose this is what they will identify in the investigation.

I'm sure he was already on a programme of counselling?

Re your points,

1. A Well run company, with an HR dept would have the following approach for non gross mis-conduct charges. Verbal warning, written warning, final written warning, dismissal

2. As he has 2 previous he will not be on a final warning. If he was on a final warning, how are you aware of this? It was not been publicised!

3. How do you know what this breach is for? I reckon you are guessing or taking the word of someone else.

Well if he has a problem with alcohol and has been given help (via counselling etc), and he still carries on then there is nothing more the club can do, they have no option but to follow the procedures which are set out in the conduct code.

Personally I doubt he has serious issues with alcohol as he would be unable to train/play on a weekly basis like he has, which suggests to me it is more an attitude problem, goes on the razz and appears not to care about the consequences.

Tansey may not even be Hulls 'Top Drinker' he just might not be able to mix drinking and training, which many can and do.

Still not sure what options the club have now though than to get rid, he is just becoming too much of a risk now.

But with the season starting next week is it wise to sack our main full back and disrupt the squad around to cover as I doubt we'll get a new FB on time.
