But that said, it only cost £9 to get in gordon street end when we left the boulevard and our average attendance has doubled, sky money has gone up consierably but the salary cap is the same.
What exactly is the £10 paying for? |

The ten pounds rise is not much and could well be justified, I am sure when the company accounts are published we will be able to make a better judgement.
Is the walk up price going up by a pound as well ?
This is vital next year, a pound rise on that will stop people turning out I would expect the continuing fall of the away support to reach new depths. Things are going to get a whole lto worse with the economy of the area before it gets better and money is going to be very tight. Entertainment is something that gets cut back when times get hard and its a cut throat business. A sky package would prove cheaper then an East Stand adult pass and you would get at least three matches per week and all the other sports as well.

The salary cap has gone from 50% of turn over with a max of 1.8(ish) millon, to a flat 1.8(ish) million. Do you really think we were operating at full cap in 2002?
Staff falling outside the cap still need to be paid, training facilitied need to be paid for etc etc etc |

our turn over has gone up 6 fold and I don't believe we we're only paying 300K. I personally feel that the club could have thanked the fans for another year of loyalty with another freeze.
It's not the end of the world, I'll get over it and if they hadn't have done the 18th man article at exactly the same time I wouldn't have thought twice about it. |

Everyone here whines that FC is a business. Well so be it then. I'll pay the tenner but they aint getting 43 for a shirt. Mind you some toerag will probably buy me one as a birthday present 
FFS we will show a large profit this year, paid for by the fans, and nothing but ineptitude to shoe for it from the product we are paying for. The 18th man article at the same time of htis is ridiculous. |

Any player who has played for the same Club for at least 10 consecutive seasons will have half their salary excluded from the Salary Cap for his eleventh and subsequent seasons. This is subject to a maximum of £50,000 for any one club.
