I've been saying for a while that we need a new 6 to step up to the next level. Horne is a good 6 but not quite good enough. My point has always been that he's the best 6 at the club, not that we couldn't sign someone better.

I remain to be convinced about him at FB mind. He's had some good games and some forgettable games. I still think he's a better 6 than FB, but now McKinnon's gone he's our best option there.

Really hope he stays for atleast another year. He's going to get better and better in the next few years and will be up there with the best props in the league imo. Also I reckon he's the best impact prop in the league bar none.

I think Dureau is a fantastic player and he is only 25. Would be very happy to sign him, but at the same time it would surely take a massive offer to lure him from the South of France lifestyle and a Catalan team that look a decent bet for a Grand or CC Final.

According to a poster on the Catalan forum Dureau is to be offered a new deal (3 yrs), it is on the 'rumours' thread mind you. Certainly wouldn't say no to seeing him in an FC shirt.

Very improbable as I don't see why he would want to leave the best club team in the world to come live in Hull (not to mention he's contracted until the end of 2014), but he's young, English and a very good player.

Going to be a massive task replacing the players who are confirmed and rumoured to be leaving. If there were better palyers available than manu and turner then we wouldn't be offering them new contracts. Interesting few months coming up given the lack of talent available. Finding a decent 6 and 7 in the same year would be a massive ask
