The wigan game still makes me angry today!

I recall the PA announcer stating that Wigans first try was scored on 39 minutes and 58 seconds!!!!! Think you're being a tad harsh on Sterling. From memory he got beat to the ball by Sam Panapa.

Admittedly I don't remember Divet throwing out an interception, I do remember him going half the length of the field for a try in the first half.

I remember Eastwood having a pop at goal with about 5 minutes left. About 40 yards out into a strong wind.

The beginning of the end was about 2 and a half years before when Harrison and Entat left. within a fairly short space of time Jackson and Mackey had gone as well.

2 games that haven't been mentioned spring to mine saints at home, when we where down to the bare bones and beat them in front of 2700 supporters on Sky, yes i was there and Bradfor away, Cordle scored 4 tries but we still beat them at Odsal.

I think his experience at Hull has helped him settle into St Helens. He's known what to expect in this country and how to deal with an English club. He's not been with us long but he's already united the fans in a way our previous coach didn't, and he's made his mark locally by getting involved in local events. He struck me from the beginning as being a down to earth, honest and humble sort of bloke, which I liked. He also seems to know his rugby, which is kind of useful!

Yeah, if I remeber rightly Hull were well in command and Wigan had Edwards sat on the bench at kickoff for some reason. He came on as a sub and things began to turn in Wigan's favour. It was like watching the game in slow motion. You just knew what the inevitable outcome would be. As for Dessie getting hypothermia, I remember Richard Gay then began wearing a divers wetsuit under his playing kit to ward off the cold.

Letting Entat go after only one year was one of the worst decisons by Hull since I have been a fan.

Don't think Stevens and Durham where there then. Think it might have been too late for Marlow also.

Wasn't it Simmons who treated Stevens like sh17.

Hewitt was scrum half that match...he had a bust up with Kelvin Skerrett and Street came in and sorted him out.
