wheeldon showed promise then went backwards under our development same as higgins, granted both have gone onto make a name for themselves (in a fashion) at other clubs but king is the last one to of got anywhere at the club (GB honours). we don't seem to be able to develop props as all our forwrds are built the same in height and weight.

Totally agree we dont produce young props ( thats why we need moa) or scrum halves, or stand offs. Our last scrumhalf to come through was Tommy Lee and i believe the coaching setup as is didnt and remain not to have clue on how to develop them ( maybe why longs coming in to find us and nurture a young talented 7) . I find it strange that Lee ended up been used as secondrower!!!???? Thats all we develop at the club second rows and centres with the odd hooker thrown in.
We need to hunt down a local young impact prop and scrum half to take us through the next 10 years!

Heard from an ex player Moa to Rovers and Fozzard back to Saints. Sounds crazy but its a reliable source.

Its a big maybe the Fozzard to Saints, Moa to Rovers story. Heard it from someone else today who is usually right.

It doesnt make much sense to me about Fozzard unless he has been offered a coaching role or something. Moa to Rovers makes every bit of sense to me, they dont really have an impact prop and they would do anything to get one over on us. Very easy brownie points stealing a fans favourite.

I simply couldn't take it if big Sam goes to Rovers. Every single one of my toys would be launched from my pram, I would take my ball home and definitely declare that I'm not playing anymore.

We don't have enough fans favorites as it is, it would be a punch in the guts if we let him go to another SL club, but indescribable if we let him go to KR.

If our useless board and pr1ck of a coach have the opportunity to feck anything up, they will. Therefore on past glories, I wouldn't be too surprised to see Sam Moa in a Rovers shirt next season!

Honestly I just can't get that wound up about this, if Moa signs for us he will be a useful addition to our squad but no more , however if he decides too sign for Rovers then so be it. If how well we do next season rests on his shoulders then we're in trouble before it starts.

Look if they have paid over the odds for him, more fool them. They seem to liek paying over the odds for players we either have or have shown an interest in. It may seem like a good idea and it may give there board and fans a buzz, its not good business practice.

He has looked good towards the end of is season, but he had some right howlers in the U 21s and I could argue its a waste of a quota place on an unproved player.
