In IE, go to Tools, Internet Options, Security, Restricted Sites, and select Sites.

You can then add the advertising site addresses (eg *.doubleclick.com, *.advertising.com).

You can find these addresses by right clicking on the adverts when they are being displayed and selecting properties.

I've stopped nearly all adverts - including HDM, with just 5 restricted sites.

Or you could just use Chrome or Firefox and install an ad blocking addon/plugin.



I haven't seen an unwanted advert in my browser in years. Really speeds up browsing.

Chrome seems much faster than IE

Makes you wonder if the World Cup Buzz has had a positive effect on sales, I am surprised (but obviously pleased!) that sales are up last year

Anyone still using IE wants shooting. Awful browser with so many bugs, much better free options out there.

I was always moaning at my eldest for leaving chrome open as search engine til she told me to get into the present and try it. Super quick.

If we sell 7000 passes Hudge will be doing cartwheels seeing as we never have. 6000 will be brilliant.

Sales are not up on last year, although we will be on course for a similar figure come the start of the season.

I don't think we can ask for more than that. I've got 2 more to buy on the next pay day, 20th. Might even take advantage of that 3month direct-debit scheme.

Yes, however our discount period was a lot longer this season so overall i would say it is on a par with last year.

Good point, it makes date comparisons useless.

The discount deadline was a month later this year we hardly sold any in November after it had passed but everyone held onto their money this year and who can blame them the time to gage it is at the end of each discount period and we are currently level with last year we have lost a lot but the Club were surprised by the amount of new subscribers they have got, we sold a lot of kids tickets before and just after \Christmas last year and so we'll end up around 8000 I guess.

I will guess 7,900. Still a good effort considering the current climate.
