have to agree with these sentiments, i have renewed today but cant say that im really looking forward to the season, cant see any real chance of trophies or being entertained. Have i renewed with blind faith yes. I can understand people choosing games next year its expensive to sit through 80 minutes of dross.
We have to go back to Mcraes days for real entertainment. 2005 cc win was fantastic but the league campaign was at times very boring.
I did not realise i would be charged two pounds for [ueach pass[/u when i was paying with switch/visa these payments are immediate and i have not been charged before using this card, the guy said you can pay by cheque and you would not have had a charge, thought cheques were dying out. Felt a bit ripped off by the club, why two pounds each pass on one transaction?

So you are saying the club can get away with not providing us with a sub standard team so long as they throw in a couple of treats from time to time?

Westerman also needs a good wage, the government will want their share of pass sales, do the SMC take a % of season ticket sales over a certain amount, do you honestly think that the Westerman fee will be paid for in increased season ticket sales this year?

With the heavy investment in youth and sound financial structure of our club do you think they are looking at long term gain and not short term rewards?

i dont agree with you, and hes been pumping money into the club for a hell of a lot of years, passes, shirts, coats etc etc, this is where age came into it, and at the age of 72 and going since he was 4-5, hes put alot into supporting them, and if your watching boring rugby every week bar the odd game, he'll do well to spend his time with his family, and thats how it will remain until the entertainment value comes back!!
If we got to wembley this season, you bet my old man will be there, hes 72!!! wembley appearences are few and far between, he may not see another, so yeah he'd be there!! or do you think he should stay at home??

I doff my cap to you dad - that's alot of support he has afforded Hull over alot of years. How come it is now he's decided to stop. Were not exactly challenging for GF or playing champagne rugby but things have been 10x worse then they are now in the entertainment stakes then they are now during the time your dad has followed Hull.

And redundancy is another point completely, I was talking about choice. I would never criticise anyone who can't afford to come and support their team.

Hes fed up of the rugby, yeah your right in that the club/finances/rugby has been worse during the years so we expected times to be hard, we just waited for that silver lining, that break, which came in the shape of Shane Richardson and co, and we turned a corner, then the rugby was exciting, it wasnt always about winning, it was watching good entertaining rugby, then came the CC win, a GF appearence, we should of kicked on and got stronger and better, but we went backwards at an alarming rate, thats whats wrong, its like he said, off the pitch we are to be envied, state of the art stadium, finances excellent, support excellent, but where it matters on the pitch, its not happening, and this has got to be down to the man in charge, im gutted hes not coming next season, but hes just had it with Agar and his tactics, and as long as the rugby stays the same, he wont be fleeced!!

I have been supporting Hull since 1941 ..the only thing that would stop me going would be if I popped my clogs or I was to ill to go I still get to Home and away games I wouldn't stop going to support the team "I love " ..In life you take the good with the bad ..R/L is no different you take the good time and bad time ..You just hope it's your team turn for the good times ..I am ready for the season got passes just hope this season is our ..C/Cup win or a Grand Final ..Well I can " Hope "

I dont get to all the away games nowadays cos of family etc but come kick off time I might as well be there!

The wife will ask me if Hull have kicked of yet and if the answer is YES its a case of leave me alone for a couple of hours while I listen to radio, internet or watch sky. Like a coiled spring while Hull are playing and I blame my dad, and his dad and his dad.
