To be fair, I think the loan or player movement shouldnt be allowed really, If you finish bottom of Super League with the squad your club assemble pre season, thats your fault and shouldnt be able to flash cash to save your skin so to speak.

I don’t know the minutiae of the rules but I guess the RFL would not allow the loans if they did not fall within the rules. Even allowing for their general incompetence!

That Is a very valid point, can have the best players in the world but throw Agar into the mix & it's all for nothing.

Tbh it wouldn't surprise me if Merrin is homesick. I was surprised he came over here in the 1st place. His wife/fiancee is a world class professional surfer so I imagine they spend a lot of time at the beach & I just can't imagine Bridlington & Scarborough compete.
