I think that Gentle will see the departures as an opportunity to bring in some of his own players. I've always had the feeling that a lot of the signings that were made last year, wouldn't have been made under the current regime.

By all accounts McKinnon & Seymour are/were on top dollar. I just can't see Gentle giving the length of contracts, & amount of salary cap, to some of the players that the previous regime did.
I'm sure the club didn't envisage having to replace the amount of players that we will now have to, but hopefully Gentle brought his contacts book to England with him!.
