Mick Crane is right here. All the referedums in the world wouldn't stop the Government putting a block on an authority selling off cheap a capital project that it had financed with funds that had to be released and agreed by Central Government in the first place. Local authorities can't just spend capital receipts wherever they come from without Government permission and when they get it they have to ensure that they get full market value back when they sell up!

I didn't know Tickle had a practice at the start of every season, initially this thread started (or at least it did as I read it) that Holdsworth wanted to practice before the game, not a couple of hours on some random Tuesday with no City or FC game in sight for days. If it is the Allams pulling these strings (and that has to be the smallest "if" ever posted) then something has to be done.

You do wonder what Allam's motives are, you'd think he'd be bigger than a petty squabble with AP, ATEOTD a strong Hull FC means more money for the SMC v-a-v more money for the Allams?
