Not done a whole lot wrong in defence this season, has looked pretty comfortable to me. Teams have already being trying to work him over in defence and he has stood up fairly strong. Not seen him highlighted on Boots & All as being particularly poor in this area either, do you think Agar will split the 2 Horne brothers defensive positions on the right hand side?

Tbf...it is Cullen doing that and suggesting R.Horne is poor at defence sums up Cullen.

I would personally Drop G.Horne as his defence is awful this season and play Whiting there...he can tackle and can actually pass to his winger

Just because Cullen hasn't spotted it doesn't mean it might not be true.

So would I. It's a gamble with Whiting's match fitness but G horne has not cut it recently and should be replaced.

I know R.Horne is a very good defender but at the moment both Horne's are not working well together in the defensive line at all. Its been highlighted over the last few weeks, surprised Agar doesnt see it as a problem, unless he has them working on it in training.

He does normally pick out the strengths and weaknesses of the respective teams

TBF i can think of 2 missed tackles off Dobson that have directly resulted in tries in recent weeks so i would guess he is a defensive spot for most opposition players.

Your probably right but surely someone is overlooking it all and that man should be Agar.

I think he has been a defensive 'spot' for most teams all season and I'm sure he will continue to be, I really do think he has stood up well so far.

To take the Horne brothers defence as an example, he has highlighted the problem and has video evidence of the error in judgements they are making, so to me, based on that, he is right, for that particular incident.

R Horne and Thorman swapped sides for the second half on Sunday (although that might well have been to move Thorman out of the firing line). It didn't work.

Maybe. But the fact that he hasn't mentioned Dobson (sorry Paul) doesn't automatically mean that all is rosy there. It may be, it may not be. We'll see

After watching the reserves on Saturday there is no chance Thacks and Whiting deserve their spots in the first team squad as they both were really poor.

Thackery had a shocking opening 15 mins in particular. Credit to him, he took his try well though.
