I am under no illusion given what happened after the match Paul that the pressure is most definately ON in capital letters, I think given current form you would say we are looking down the barrel of three bad loses and at that point i would also agree if that is the case at that point that it would be difficult to disagree with your prognosis mate!
BUT youknow pro sport is a weird place isnt it and how things can turn around in a few minutes is crazy, as much as i hate it who would have said Stoke city would have clacked five past in the cup semi?? these things happen and a good win against HKR could change a great deal...

I said a few weeks ago it will get messy Paul...Know-one wants that or deserves that really, Rich is a nice bloke, however I wish he would just walk away now, today!...as it could be very humiliating for him on Friday especially with the cameras there, even if we win on Friday, this point will come again and again I am afraid.

I like Rich Agar, always have, however I feel he has let me down..he said at the beginning if he failed he would walk away, now his win ratio is evidence of his failure yet he is still here!!basically I feel he has deceived me and 1000s of others.

unlike one or two immediately before him, rich has worked his bag off , put in more time and VT time etc than anyone in the game i know but for what ever reason it isnt happening at present
all we can hope for is that we trounce HKR, then get a result at the wire and then Shaun does a number on his previous employers too

Why would it change anything? We have beaten 3 teams.

1, Crusaders who are absolutely awful
2, Bradford, hit and miss team who like us are missing more than they are hitting. They have had 50 put on them twice and victories over Crusaders/Wakey/Quins and Cas show they are a long way off being a good team.
3, Quins, Had the early season roll that we have been accustomed to getting for a few years and have started sliding down the league dramatically.

All 3 teams we have beaten are currently in the bottom half of the league and have 3 of the 4 worst defences.

If we beat Rovers that will make 4 teams in the bottom half we have beaten, if that is enough to change things a great deal i am staggered to say the least.

I know what you mean but as you know a win in the derby in Hull is like a world cup final win to the winners and the bottom of the Pacific for the losers, a win could be the mental pep they need, oh i dunno i guess i am trying to see light in a dark tunnel at present ,

Keep the faith. We're training well. If we can raise us bar on the island and start to aim up, we can start to climb the league table. We're playing like a top 8 team, so it's only a matter of time before we're in the top 8.

It is that type of mentality that annoys me (not saying that is your mentality by the way) A win against Rovers should be taken in the right context, yes it is good to get one over on them but when it is 10th v 11th it really should not be meaning too much to supporters.

I guess, I just think it's a low blow. Attack him for the coaching side of things but leave out the personal stuff. Just my opinion mind.

Agreed and that's the sad thing for me in all of this. He maybe should walk away but how many of us would walk away from a paid job? If we lose on Friday it will get nasty and personal and although its inevitable it's not very nice, he's human after all and he's probably hurting as much as any of us.

I think like many people have said before that he could actually be an asset to the club but more in a role of an assistant or DOR not head coach but that's unlikely to happen.

Or maybe they find ways to attack the coach when his side is playing poorly?

Just to take the p*ss out of him, I suppose. Like people might mock a politician for a particular turn of phrase or idiosyncrasy. It will happen if you're in the public eye, unpopular and and have an obvious way of speaking that lends itself to being mocked.
