If Seymour has a bad attitude I'd still not expect such a glaringly obvious slating from the chairman. It is unprofessional, whichever way you look at it.

It was a good reaction from the players last night, I expect that's more down to Gentle though.

I raised my eyebrows at the 2 new half back comments but on the other hand Pearson went out of his way to praise Seymour a couple of weeks earlier as a model pro coming over from Australia (while slating Mckinnon). We don't know whats been said to Seymour privately, perhaps they plan on rotating or playing him at LF (all the while when trying to swap him for Danny Brough).

Thats the problem. He needs to stay well away from the action so he can't f**k up.

He did, so he obviously doesn't have a bad attitude.
It's going to take a lot of money to pay him off I'd imagine, so who knows, he may have something already sorted.

I wouldn't have done it but I don't own the club and my investment isn't dependent upon success like Pearson's is. I suspect Seymour is already on his way and Pearson's context was based on that - ie talking about the future without Seymour rather than the present with him.

I was very surprised by Pearsons comments about the poor recruitment of halfbacks this season. It could only mean Ellis and Seymour. We don'tknow what has been said behind closed doors though and maybe Seymour wants to go or is amicable about leaving.

AP was in a dificult position as he was clearly angry and wanted to send a message to the fans, rightly or wrongly.

Whilst I can't speak for all Hull FC fans, I must mention that personally, never winning at Wembley is kind of like being a white Christmas. Nice if it happens, but I wouldn't swap, using completely hypothetical numbers, three 'regular' Christmases for one white one.

Also, if we are going by our former names, and we ARE Hull Sharks, then you are Kingston Amateurs. Actually, judging by Monday night, that works quite well...

Agreed he did tons of tackles, workhorse could be very good with abit more game time, also looked quite aggressive in defence and made a nice break. Unlucky to have the ball reefed on the carry from the kick off.

He only gave 1 penalty away for holding down pea. The other was Manu reefing the ball which was a fair call.

I actually thought the same about Pitts seemed quite a solid but average player, but on Monday he certainly wasn't, lets hope he can keep it up !
