Seems reasonably obvious to me. Provided we're not paying him much unless he plays then he offers cover and he continues to train with the squad so he can slot in if required. What's so strange about that ? It would be far stranger to send him back to Leeds and then have to do all the paperwork again the next time 2 outside backs get injured, which in case people hadn't noticed does happen fairly regularly.

I'd be pleased to sign him as cover, however we should also expect Jack Briscoe to offer that. FWIW i reckon Jodie will be at wire next season.

Can't agree with that. If Calderwood and Raynor are both fit to play, they should play. Calderwood got enough runs on the board before his injury to warrant coming straight back into the team.

Calderwood must be fit or he wouldnt be back,hes the best option for me so should go stright back into the team ,but i hope we can make room for broughton next year i think he is a real prospect and worth a squad place

And pretty quick.....We have been missing our missing speedsters, so Broughton has been a revelation. I don't know what we are in for as regards to the rest of this season.....but with the pack Agar is assembling along with the pacy wingers and centres.....We should do well. I see Tom Briscoe is 'limpless' now, so should be almost ready to terrorise opposition defences again soon!

Altough I think Broughton is a very good youngster and is one of only a few players currently at the club who seems to play with passion and a true love for the game. Surely we have enough cover for the backs already? Hall, Briscoe, Whiting, G. Horne and then we should have Jack Briscoe within the next couple of seasons.
If he was signed as cover I wouldn't be disappointed, although I don't think he is really needed.

Of course you would drop Broughton for Calders, he's our first choice winger, if fit he plays. Simples.

Spot on. If he wasnt 100% im sure Broughton would have remained in the squad. Broughton has played really well but Calderwood and Raynor would have both scored the tries he has. He is only here for cover anyway. (real talent for the future mind)

Broughton is staying on loan until the end of the season.

Good option for cover but if Raynor and Calderwood stay fit he wont figure. (unless Agar is going to use him in his preferred position of centre)
