The fact he still pulls on the Green and Gold speaks volumes. The only thing that would give me pause for thought would be his age and whether he would play enough games to be worth the cost.

On Obst, very good signing for me, Agar stated he was looking for cover at 6/7 and 9 and he's found it. I can't think of a better player that would gave come as cover. Good signing all the way.

Ok, he tends to play about 40 minutes as opposed to Graham's 60, and on that basis he also averaged more tackle busts per minute, more tackles per minute, and more clean breaks per minute. That's 5 stats in which he comes out on top, but he's not half the player IMO.

I'm not saying that stats can't be useful, but I agree with Jake that sometimes far too much emphasis is placed upon them and they can very much be manipulated.

The way Sam is going there will be a few clubs watching with interest. His next deal will be significantly better than his current. I'd look to tie him in now as it's clear he's just going to get better and better.

Just asked him if he was staying and he said he just said the club have no ambition - his words . He did say lauaki loved it here however

Definatley, his offloading game and minutes are both improving. Highest offloads in the league already.

Not at all. The guy obviously has ambition and wants to win trophies. If the likes of Wigan/Saints/leeds are knocking on the door he would be foolish to turn them down.
