I think we played some of our best rugby last season with Kelly, Connor and Ratu on that right edge but unfortunately we didnt see that combination enough.

Thats two of our main strike players leaving. I hope in the case of Kelly its because we have a head coach lined up with an idea of what he wants, rather than us seeing the team slowly dismantled because we dont have any real drive or vision youd get from having a head coach in place.

Unlike the Ratu situation we’re we have lost a super strike winger, due to a better contract offer, Albert has struggled with shoulder injuries, and has played regularly jabbed up, he’s been fantastic for us, a superb footballer with the heart of a lion, god this year is really crap.

Been a great week for news (Although Jones and Kelly are just rumours) Could do with some positivity, had great optimism for this season, now we haven't played for months, haven't got a coach and are rumored to be losing some of our best players.

He's struggled with injuries and concussions but to lose Kelly would be a blow. At his best he is sensational. To get the news that Naulago is leaving and Kelly and Jones may be following makes is a very worrying time with no news of a coaching appointment not to mention no new signings.

The HDM has reported that Jones is commited to Hull but there have been no quotes from the player. He could easily have tweeted that the story is rubbish or that he intends to stay with us but again nothing.

We didn't "lose" him, we sacked him. Hindsight a great thing obviously but as you imply we would have been in a better position with him still in charge right now as a point of continuity for recruitment purposes. We may even be paying him anyway effectively. Could be one to repent at leisure so to speak.

Gutted about Kelly. Fabulous player and a unique talent, although has been rumoured to have been going back for the last 3 seasons so not really a surprise.

So Ratu we expected as there have been plenty of rumours regarding a return to union, obviously disapointing.

Kelly we expected, been hankering for a move back home, and widely accepted this season was his last. Another on a large salary that hopefully will now be available and is often injured although does perform when he plays

Josh Jones rumours rubbished and i really cant see any club forking out the fee needed to sign him

So bearing that in mind il stay positive rather than be dramatic.

Id welcome the Houghton rumours as if true , i think we l of definatley timed his depature correctly as hes definatley on the wind down and on a large salary. Johnstone is more than capable of stepping in, possibly with Cator as backup or rotating or a new hooker.

Its so sad that we were not as fans able to see what a new quality coach from outside the club would have done with what was a very talented squad but one that is sadly now looking to be breaking up. I know we have the rest of this season but I can't see a new coach being brought in and anyway its going to be a strange campaign anyway. I can't see us bringing in a coach from outside the club or doing much recruitment for next year myself either, particularly after the stance we have made on a salary cap reduction. We'll always support the team whoever turns out but it's a pity we couldn't have seen what a new coach would be making of things at this stage of the original season. I'm a bit concerned about where the game is going to end up but even more about where we as a club finish up.

I think if Kelly had been settled as the clubs number one 6 the story may have been different.
To have your squad number taken away then demoted from the position in favour of Connor who dictated to Radford he wanted the six shirt rather than fight for it on merit.
My guess is with the club looking to cut costs they have not offered Albo a new deal.

The alternative we have for the foreseeable is Andy Last. Couldn't be more Club Hull.
