To be fair he was probably asking himself the same question. The players showed themselves for what they are tonight. Also rans! Always too quick to take their foot off the gas. The whole club lacks that special ingredient to turn them into winners. Has done for decades.

I've been saying this for weeks, doesn't run his weight and just sticks his arm out to tackle instead of getting properly stuck in. He needs to improve a lot in the remainder of the season for me. I gave him the benefit of the doubt earlier in the season, thinking he was just hesitant because of the treatment he'd received from the referees, being spoken to before he'd made a tackle etc. but I think it's more than that now.

I wouldn't say I thought a quota spot was wasted on Moa last year but I did think that we should have used that quota space on a back. Hope it's a priority on next season's shopping list. Agar indicated at the fans forum that Tom Briscoe's future lies at centre so are we speaking to a winger (or 2)?

He plays quite a few, I'd say. I remember a game or two earlier in the season, when due to injuries he played most of the game.
He doesn't play noticably less minutes than the rest. I thought it was pretty even all around....dunno.
