Everyone understands these days that overseas signing are subject to visa approval, I thought Rovers looked a bit silly denying the Clinton signing last season when it had been reported in the Aussie press for months, if we signed someone it would be reported over there. Add in that its a crucial period in the season pass sales cycle, if we had ink on a contract i think it would have definitely been announced by the club, they have nothing to gain by hiding it.

I think it's pretty obvious that in general, a player who's body has had the shiit knocked out of it for 10 or more years in top level rugby is likely to be more susceptible to injuries than one who has only just started. Of course, there will be exceptions at both ends of the scale but to suggest age isn't a factor in picking up (and in getting over) injuries is pretty naive

Absolutely. Wear and tear I think it's called. And in fact it's not just age but how and where you play the game and how many miles there are on the clock and I think that's the bigger problem for Horne. He's never had the luxury of standing out in the threequarters when defending and has played a lot of games at a top level from an early age.
