Look I have nothing against AP, this could be a great move for us.

However the current board gets accused of having no RL person on there (despite Kath's vast knowledge) so I am just pointing out the same thing.

Dont think it matters now as Agar will be gone soon anyway. Did you not notice that not once does Pearson mention Agar in his statement which says a lot to me

Very surprised at this because - even though he hails from the Rugby League heartlands - Pearson has never proclaimed to be a 'fan' of the sport and, indeed, during his first spell at Hull City, seemed quite hostile to it.

That said, I am sure he will run the club in a professional manner (particularly, as he is using his own money for once) but he has a reputation for 'meddling' in football and his record of achievement (on the field) isn't that great, especially at Derby.

it shouldn't be forgotten that Pearson is just an 'investor' not a benefactor.

Where he differs from other RL owners like Moran, McManus, Lenegan, Hudgell, Hughes, Davey, Wilkinson etc is that he will demand a return on his investment and has no particular affinity for the club. He will also 'move it on' as soon as he feels right!

Welcome AP, saying all the right things but it's what he does that we will judge him on. I'm hopefully optimistic.

I just hope he is strong enough to do his own thing and not get sucked in to the Allam's plans.

Think he will as they say take the bull by the horns and want to put us were we rightly belong. Won't take any fools and agar be under pressure straight away to deliver and so will the players

Phil parkinson was a good yound manager who had a very good record at southend (i think) and at the time it was seen a s a good appointment. similar to molby.

Agree, plus any new coach coming in now has his hands tied as far as player recruitment for next season is concerned as that has pretty much being sorted by Agar and the previous BOD.

Although still worried about the Allam influence, I'm very excited about this. Adam is a great businessmen, knows how to succeed and will take no nonsense.

People who think Agar will be given time to prove himself are worrying for no reason....Adam will know from the financial results that something isn't right....let's get behind the boys on Sunday...if we don't win then the pressure will be on Agar. I can see our next coach being a TOP coach rather than a joker.

Hopefully , The broom will extend to sweep all coaching positions at Hull. A new direction ,Attitude , Tactics , Work ethics , Desire and passion are needed.

Best news the club has had for a while, hopefully get the current shambles out of the club and pearson will hopefully get the club back where it belongs in the top 2 or 3.
