| Not too bad a signing and will be a useful squad player. We can’t sign world class for every signing we make. We need squad players that are decent and Sutcliffe is just that and for me I’d say he is more than a step up than the departing Johnstone which is how I view it.
We’ve seen in our squad with injuries and throughout SL that very few teams have injury free seasons so need decent cover.

If Hodgson is the driving force in these signings i dread to think
Hoy apart who probably will make it due to his speed then unless we have a couple of quality forwards coming in then his recruitment for next season looks as poor as his recruitment was last season.

Bonaire. I am playing along with him. Des realises that and that's why he hasn't taken the bait.

No I agree with you actually
As good as Mau has been this season he’s been nothing like I expected when we signed him.
Had visions of him making break after break leaving defenders in his wake.
Can’t fault his efforts, unlike some, but hoped to see more from him.

If he keeps up his current form then he will be a good signing

according to Hodgson he is versatile can play five eight/centre/second row/full back
totally underwhelmed if thats the standard of recruitment.
He doesnt have the pace for a centre we are looking for and at 27 is hardy young
3 year contract seems mad
Would see much more potential in Josh Simm as a centre and Longstaff as a second row'"
Good age,and his defence is good..Knows where the try line is and better than Simm who has too many defensive mistakes in him.

| Great news Great signing player who does it against the best
Now people will see how over rated Carlos is
Never does it against the best
Sutcliffe does
A step in the right direction
And hopefully rumours are right hello dwyer..bye bye Houghton
And before people get upset a man of steel not getting close to a full england/gb cap bit odd ? Wonder why he's not good enough end of
Thanks for tackle 52 but what else did he do apart from tackle ........?

As much as I think it’s time we moved Houghton on or used him sparingly by spelling him I hope to god we don’t sign Dwyer.
He has the odd moments where his headless chicken style gets things going but for me he’d be a poor signing. We already have Lovodua who was signed and brought to the club to play 9 plus Balmforth who sounds like he’ll feature more next season once he’s worked on certain aspects.

| houghton did more that make 1 tackle ,he was man of steele.the only reason houghton is becoming ineffective,is not since peter gentle spelled him with heremia has he been used properly.hes been ground into the dust.james roby spent the first 5 or 6 years at saints as understudy and eventual interchange with keiron cunningham.

| I'm pleased with the signing.
A good experienced SL player.
It's nice to see BH changing it up and bringing in fresh faces to freshen up the mindset and the culture of the club, can only be seen as a positive signing.
I'll rightly reserve judgement until he's played a few games for us, but welcome aboard Liam.

| Another good signing from the club in my opinion. He's the type of signing I think will go under the radar, not a huge name, but bags of experience, can cover most positions on the pitch and still a relatively good age, he also looks to be coming into his best form he's shown during his time at Leeds. Lets hope he can stay injury free for the remainder of this season and keep up the good form.

| Always felt like Sutcliffe was a victim of his own versatility at Leeds. He will be an upgrade on Griffin of '22 without a doubt.
Carlos
Sutcliffe
Wynne
Mitch
Griffin
Scott (if gets a new deal)
Is a ridiculous amount of centres to have in the squad, hopefully Scott doesn't get a new deal & Griffin is moved on because no way that guy is a 2nd rower for 25+ games a season.

I think injuries have shown you need to have a few players, I'd keep Scott, a few that can play on the wing too.
Agree about Griffin, but think he might be here next year, as will eb on a good a wage so will sit out his deal here, a bit like Shaul and Bowden did.

| He’s a good player, but I personally think too slow for a first choice centre, and def not tough enough for the pack. However does have excellent utility value, but he’s had lots of injuries over the years too? And is by no means a fresh 27 year old in the RL sense.
We have not used him that sensibly, and he in turn was quite immature. But def improved in the application aspect now…..
All in all, he’ll add something to your squad, but I do worry he’ll become a scapegoat as that’s what happened here…..

Fair post, I think he will be a good signing for us, its all about improving our 17, and I think him, Hoy and Truemam will do that.

We should be looking at much better quality than Sutcliffe if the club are serious about making inroads into the top four.
The Leeds guy who posted has no axe to grind and echoes what a lot of Leeds supporters think.
We know we need to add some speed yet we sign another utility player who is short of pace yet seemingly to be a first choice centre.
So the question you have to ask is where does Hodgson play Connor given a fit Tuimavave should be first choice right centre.
That question then brings up the possibility that Connor may be leaving as Hull look to cash in on him.
Will the signings of Hoy,Trumeman and Sutcliffe suddenly make us into a top four team the answer is No.
Our second row is not big and powerful enough and our front row needs shaking up with an additional big mobile player to stop the complacency .
It says something when Brad Fash has suddenly become the teams star forward
