Agree with the two above posts, had end of season game written all over it, too many errors from us a referee who must challenge James childs' for being out of his depth, although we didn't deserve anything today, Warrington got a lot of 50/50 calls their way and 3 or 4 tries they got were certainly questionable

imo I do worry about both fash and downs weight and size, hopefully there will fill out but imo just not big enough atm, there was talk of fash being a hooker at one stage?

Spot on. People clamour for Radford to 'give the youngsters a chance' and when he does he gets nailed because they're outmatched by seasoned pros.

The thing is though these kids might have been better if Radford had actually utilised them (more) earlier in the season and thus have more expereince under their belts, in some instances they could well have been better than some regulars. As i stated in another thread between them they'd played a handful of games before the 8s started, it's all well and good giving the kids experience when the season is effectively over and indeed it is valuable but it's not the same when it means more in the scheme of things when you are still fighting to achieve.
If as likely we go into next season with the names we know are the starters, how many games will the likes of Fash, Downs, Logan et al get in the first 3/4 of the season...10 games again between them?

I wasn't there but sounds like a problem across the team pretty much rather than being down to the young players. Whilst I doubt radford's abilities to actually coach the team, I did think his strong point was in trying to instill a stronger mentality across the playing staff at the club but yesterday seems to show he isn't making the progress we need.

I genuinely think it should have been about 34-22. Then we could have just had our civic reception and got on with things.

Certainly worried about our backs next year if the gambles don't pay off, not convinced Micheals and Talanoa are good enough for the wings. Are Naughton and Lancaster ready?

Absolutely. I'm not 100% about Shaul either. I do rate Talanoa and sounds like Fonua could go well, but the imbalance between forwards and backs is stark.

I prefer Talanoa in the centres, so as it stands I would go with

Naughton/Micheals/Lancaster

Certainly isn't a top 4 backline, on paper probably still the worst in the current top 8.
