the sooner Radford clears off the better

From an outsider's perspective, Pearson is his own worst enemy in terms of progress. If he didn't chirp up in the HDM year on year saying how Hull either 'will or can do xyz' then he wouldn't be left looking stupid when they fail to deliver.

That is the claim I was getting at, but I worded it badly in a rush. We have persistently been told by Pearson about how Radford is turning the club around, yet for all this club rebuilding he's been doing 2 years on all we can really say with certainty is that we're now less s**t than in his first season. And this after spending a small fortune paying off players who were apparently the root cause of our problems, but would actually almost all be out of contract in a couple of months anyway.

You're right that it hasn't actually been specifically stated, but my personal perception is that Pearson has at times attempted to lay the abominable 2014 season largely at Gentle's door, and thus treat the improvement since as some sort of vindication that Radford is fixing Gentle's mess. So that's where I agree with UllFC, that the situation Radford took over has been overemphasized to how bad it actually was.

Thanks, but it doesn't take a genius to work out that's what they've implied for 2 years now, at least he'll finally have is squad next season. Lets see how that works out. Not been funny, but I reckon every single person on this forum could have done as good, if not better job than Radford with the resources he's had. He should do better next season , with the way the squads looking, how much better remains to be seen

Radford and Pearson have effectively laid the blame at Gentle (and SM) door since Radford's appointment and in almost every single interview there has being a mention of it in one form or another, that you insist that hasn't being said is your failing to understand not others whom can clearly see through the BS being spun by both protagonists.

I hope Radford fails, and fail he will (oh we might nudge 5th or 6th whoopdefookingdo) but he's a man that goes back on his word, he's a bastabber and a bully. Secondly even with a 17 full of internationals we still wouldn't make a final as he hasn't learnt dick, still makes the same old mistakes every fooking weekend and still hasn't got a clue on how to improve basic core skills, still can't improve our attack at the critical points, nor improve players in areas they need.
He can't even accept the failings lie right at his door, he's utterly deluded and it would appear some fans equally so thinking this turnip is going to turn us around.

Just for example, this is from AP's programme notes last year (www.hullfc.com/article/35357/rea ... atch-notes): Quote "There have been massive issues to address of late which are beyond the public domain that should have been dealt with long ago, and were unfortunately inherited by Lee and Motu Tony. Those issues will take time to sort, but they have already made huge advances along the right path. "Both of them are now making inroads into moulding their own squad for next season and we have some exciting signings confirmed and some close to being confirmed."'" Now, that being said, I don't agree that the latest article makes any such inferences. At least not from LR. I fully agree with the others on here that this is nothing more then b.s. and spin. Still blaming the previous regime for our current failings and predicament and setting the bar of success very low.

It buys Radford more time and offers optimism for next season to the fans who fall hook line and sinker for the nonsense the club churns out at times.
Pearson himself has said to me via e mail that the only mistake He made was appointing gentle so fook knows what he sees in Radford to think he is the messiah.
Radford cannot improve himself or the players any further and all this improved recruitment will do is cover and hide his coaching deficiencies with better players and God forbid it buys him a contract extension.

If we finish top next year with improved recruitment that'll only be papering over the cracks IMO.

Nobody is apologising for him. Most (maybe even all, except friends and family) supporters think Radford isn't up to the job. However there is zero chance of him leaving soon. He will end the season as head coach and start next season as head coach. Constant hand-wringing and complaining and going over the same points on every thread will not change that.

I like you to find me quotes from all these apologists, I've no doubt they are a couple, but if say that 95% of Hull fans think he currently isn't up to the job. The difference is that most don't have a moan about the same thing every single day, making a big deal about a nothing article in which everything said is correct.

He isn't going anywhere, so we might as well get behind the club and hope he can turn it around, I think he needs some help, I'd like someone like Kear as assistant coach.
