If it's a close game that London narrowly win he'll probably live to fight another day. If they win comfortably then I would say it would be untenable.

Yes, the best we can hope for in the absence of Pearson finding a better coach than Radford tout de suite (and I don't include the likes of Nobby in that) is for us to win well, get a bit of confidence back and the team hoist Radford back on the horse again.

Losing to poke Pearson into action shouldn't be the trigger. By all accounts (OK, the Daily Star's account) Pearson had penned the writing on the wall for Gentle while we were still in the mix in the league (we won every game in August including beating Rovers and Wigan away) and still had to play at Wembley. I'm guessing Pearson makes his decisions based on his observations on what's happening behind the scenes.

I'd love for Radford to crack on and succeed. I just don't think he can. Still be cheering for them to win, though.
