Why would you drop Paleaaesina for Green?

Must be a mistake, Feka has been excellent the last two games and would be one of the first names in the team sheet, can see him being really fired up for this game against his old club and should thrive of the reaction from both sets of fans, as I'd expect the Wigan fans to give him a good reception.

You'd think Rankin was a world beater reading this thread he's average at best and last week was as poor as anyone.

I thought he was hopeless last sunday. Has shown the odd flash but nothing more than miller IMO

I said earlier in the week that I expected to win, and that was without knowing who Wigan had out. Looking at their squad another defeat would be as bad a result as last week imo. They will fight gamely, but it is essentially their under 19s, if we are trying to redeem ourselves after last week and still can't win, then we may aswell give up now.

more strength to start with then bring in abit more mobility off the bench, although think of that would put feka in for carvs.

If Carvell is fit he has to play.

It is quite hard to pick a team at the moment for various reasons.

Carvs if fit should be given another week off to recover rather then coming back for one and out again.

Horne and Rankin in the halves for me, with miller off the bench for azza later on

Unless I've missed something, you might be better picking the 17 for Wigan from the squad named. Rankin isn't in it

I have just re-read this again and already having nightmares about Miller playing hooker, his defence is no where near up to the task

I think this is his preferred team when everyone is fit.

I've noticed in a few games that Talanoa often ends up limping so I'm just wondering if he's carrying a slight knock?

For me it's not a case of thinking he's a world beater but more a case of questioning was he really bad enough to be dropped compared to other members of the team when it was a poor performance all round?

Just read Whiting's latest column on the HDM website. He says the players will be up for this one. No offence to Stilts but that's the problem for me. I have no doubt they'll be up for this one against the champs but they need to be just as up for games like last week.

I was saying the team I'd have chosen, despite radders dropping Rankin, Hadley. No confusion here mate.

I'm also not say play Miller at hooker, the half backs to swap and change to keep Wigan guessing who will be play maker etc.

Don't understand all this tackle about Miller and his tackling, he fronted up well against Wakey, missed one tackle I believe even whilst Wakeys big lads were picking him out. Not the first game I've seen him have a good defensive game either

I don't think it's down to dropping a player, but bringing back Horne, who is still our best HB.
This means finding a place for Miller/Rankin, and putting one of them on the bench doesn't make sense to me.

We badly need some points, having dropped more than plenty recently, so at the moment we need to play our best backs whenever possible.

The forwards can be swapped about without (in theory) too much impact on overall team performance.
After all, there are 10 (forward) interchanges each game anyway.

If that's the reason then fair enough. I agree with that. A half on the bench makes no sense to me either.
