I think you will find that AP would disagree with you. To be fair, PG has described most games as 'must win' this season. We have no chance whatsoever of a home playoff game, so financially to the club it will make very little difference where as a trip to Wembley could potentially bring in 100s of thousands in extra revenue, so why not put all your eggs in the cup bascket? at least salvage something from an otherwise a very disapointing season and more than make up for a lower league position imo.

Neither Myler nor Atkins played against KR, and both are reported definitely out for Sunday. Having said that Chris Bridge is back for Wire and arguably the more skilful centre over Atkins. Ratchford will no doubt deputize for Myler and he's not a bad replacement.

Doesnt send a positive message to fit players, if a player doesnt train all week, and is then selected ahead of players who have trained all week.

Would you apply this policy to all players,for example if Holdsworth and Horne both became available on thurs/fri would you stick with players who had trained all week?

I would apply this policy to all - the exception being, is no other replacement in the squad are available.

Whats the point of fit players training all week?, then finding out thurs/fri, that the injured player walks into the side.

The point being that we would have a better chance of winning with Horne/Holdsworth in the halves than miller/arron but your policy would not allow this if they only became fit friday.Why do you think coaches give their best players as long as possible to prove their able to play?

Surely all the more reason to forget about the league? If we scrape into the 8 which we look like we will do, we get the same money than if we finish 4th or 5th? Lets face it we where never Grand Final contenders but we are one game away from a very lucrative CC final and not to rest players after their efforts in France was bad coaching imo. others may disagree but what would you take? 4th or 5th in the league, win maybe one PO game? or a trip to Wembley and possible silverware and all the prestige and money which comes with that? No brainer for me.

This would mean ,there would be a lack of cohesion,as they wouldnt have trained together all week.

Also, it has a knock on effect, with hooker and fb, not training together as pivots, then there is the question of no set plays,no dummy runners etc.

IF Miller & Azza, then you could forge some cohesion,with Houghton & McDonnell

My main point was that if a prop is not fit to train until Friday & then plays, it doesnt give the likes of Johnson & Bowden motivation.

Players who don't make mistakes , give penalties away etc are probably not doing a lot. Players with the ball in their hands more will almost certainly make more mistakes. Our problem and what is so frustrating is that collectively we just keep making the same ones week in week out and never seem to learn.

Based on having paid a fee for him and some lauding him as the next big hope, he's delivered what most level headed people expect, solid and reliable whilst not world beating.

I really don't understand why people care what we paid for him?

Been one of our most consistent forwards all season, easily the best forward up until around Easter time. And he's still 23!
