Having read through all these posts recently regarding the abysmal displays by the whistle blowers and now Pearsons shot across the bows of the RFL we were then treat to a refereeing display last night by Thaler that was the best I`ve seen this year. It was`nt flawless, they never will be, but he kept up with play, let it flow and not once through all those tries did he go to the video ref which some refs would have done to get themselves full screen view. He had a quiet word when necessary, pointed the finger off the ball so has not to stop play,and looked to his assistants when needed. A good performance.

There lies the problem

Not all fans by any means. Lots of us agree with chairmen having a go at the RFL for their failure to sort out the apalling failures of their referees.

Rovers complained about a ref and so far thing have gone they way in the passed few games .So if you complain things seem to get done in your favor

In to day HDM a writer stated that it's not the ref job to call forward pass it's the touch judges job All I can say is he hasn't been to the games were I have seen the ref rule forward and over rule the touch judges .we do not know if the touch judge had called forward and that ref ignored him just like the one against us v Salford in the Cup the ref waved play on
