I haven't got too much of a preference. I do like the odd night game to mix it up, but I'm enjoying the change of Sundays in the day this season.

Atmosphere will increase with results, same with attendances.

fridays every time. i get so giddy at work on a friday looking forward to a home game. quick wash n change, in pub to meet dad n brother. no waiting around like you do on a sunday once you get up.

It took Rovers longer than normal to sell out the North Stand so i dont think that there will be much interest in the West Upper. We still had junior swaps available 4 days after they were made available which is unheard of.

Think lower attendances this season have little to do with the fact we are now playing on a Sunday and more to do with simple economics and financial constraints. Also I dont think the hysteria caused by some MP's helped over the fuel as some people are worried they'll have no fuel

so are staying at home unless a journey is important.

Think if we stay above a 10K average this season we will have done well TBF taking all things into account away from the club. As for the club they can only do what they are doing and continue to improve and hoepfully start to tempt the old season pass fans and walk up fans back that had lost patience under the old regime.
It won't happen overnight and will take time to increase as we had all been promised so much for the last 6-7 years and got let down time and again with nothing but the same old tripe. With this and money for secondary spends being in short supply it will take more than 10 rounds or so to have any affect.

As for Fridays or Sundays I dont mind but would prefer a mix.

I think the same. A mix would be good but I enjoy both for different reasons.

Spot on with the atmosphere as well. Its all about what is happening on the pitch that dictates that.

Torn between the two myself. I want take my 4yr old son so enjoy sundays, but friday night matches do seem to have better atmosphere ( still crap though).
I think we're very long way off averaging the 14,000 that A/P wanted. Although us winning and city not going up may help

I don't live around Hull any more, but I would be interested to know how much marketing is done for games which are up and coming.

Around west Yorkshire there are a lot of bill board adverts for Leeds, Wakefield and Castleford games.

Would this be something to increase gates?

I prefer Friday night games just because I like floodlit rugby. Makes for a better atmosphere in my opinion.

I'm a traditionalist I'm afraid. 1 game on a Friday, 1 game on a Saturday to satisfy TV contract requirements and all the others on a Sunday afternoon, just like the old days

Sunday's for me I have a 3 year old and a nine month old so prefer the weekend game.

Traditionally rugby league was a Saturday sport

Can't beleive the South and the East stands still aren't sold out for Friday, we are 2nd in the league and 5 games unbeaten, what more do the fans want?

if you can't afford it then fair enough, but if you can and you live in reasonable distance of the KC watching it on TV is criminal, come and support the team!

People say about finances and I know only too well about local job losses in recent years however City seem able to get 17,000+ quite easily, even against the likes of Coventry.

Fans will come with success, unfortunately our current good form isn't good enough yet. Will take longer then people think for the fans to come back to the KC.

I hope you are right but £19 is a lot of money to someone skint and it is easy to see how it could be more attractive to save the money if it is on the box whether we are in form or not.

Agree. If we maintain a decent win ratio over the next couple of months I'd hope for a reasonable increase in crowds as the weather improves. Don't know what else the club could have done since AP's takeover to demonstrate we're taking things seriously though. Response is somewhat disappointing IMO.

It's expensive though. If someone is out of work or on a reduced income then the cost is significant. pearson needs to do something about the SMC user agreement and drop the match day prices to generate more interest

£19 in advance is reasonable compared to other SL clubs IMO.
