| Quote ="RichieFC86"I sent an e-mail through with regards to the playing of Old Faithful before fridays match (and how it didn't work what so ever) and also requesting that the music on the PA be turned off with a few minutes to kick off. Alloying the fans to actually hear each other from one block to another and (hopefully) create some atmospher.
At first I got a reply from Jon Flatman who seemed to have misread the e-mail (and thouoght I was just having a dig at the announcer) but to be fair he replied to my further e-mail apologising about that and also said "Everything is worth a try and I am willing to give that a go. I do however think people/fans are used to being fed entertainment and would rather lead than be led."
I'm hoping that this will take place at the Cas game and I'll be doing my usually 'shouty man' thing from the top of South east to try and get Old Faithful going. Fingers crossed that with a good win this weekend and people slightly less dejected, people may actually join in so I don't look too much of a pillock with my suggestion

Maybe they can record a few choruses of "agar out" and play it over the tannoy. I think it would be really popular and get a large section of the crowd singing

| I'm getting a bit peeved that people at the club seem to be spending more time responding to emails than actually sorting out the problems at the club.

| A few bog standard replies and some lackey will get the minute job of emailing them out hardly a long job or complicated even for the average prop forward.
They have the worry beads out good and proper now, they think a few emails, spin in the local paper will turn this around for them. This whole twitter thing is a diversion, focussing on how badly the two people have been treated. They will turn every rant, bad mouthing, chanting or fans kicking of as personal attacks in an attempt to turn attention away from the problem.
It has worked before, its not going to work anymore

I'm fed up of this bile, we have never had home advantage at the KC, each and every game is like a neutral venue.
It just shows the boards contempt by not picking the opponants for the first ever game at the KC, even though the RFL offered them the pick of the fixtures. Even after Plummers "vision" in the Threepenny at a meet the players night "first game, full against Leeds" He said

Thank you for taking the time to contact tellus with your email.
I fully appreciate the frustrations that have led you to contact the club via ‘Tell us’. The start to the season has been disappointing and you are perfectly entitled to your frustrations. I share your frustrations as do the coaches and the players and they are all aware that our recent performance against Wakefield fell below the standards that we all expect at Hull FC. The players have been quick to make that statement publically and you can see in the attached interview with Lee Radford and or by clicking onto this link on Hullfctv www.hullfc.com/videos.aspx and watching his post match interview that they recognise that uncharacteristic individual errors let them down on Friday.
I wanted to personally write to you to acknowledge your email and recognise your frustrations. We have a very loyal and passionate fan base which I do not take for granted having grown up in this city and followed Hull FC since being a young boy, long before I joined the club in 2004 and long before I became Chief Executive. However I would hope that you will appreciate that in my capacity as Chief Executive it would be unprofessional and indeed disrespectful to engage in public debate, analysis or criticism of individuals within the Hull FC organization whether that is a coach, player or member of staff. Whilst wins and losses are the ultimate barometer of a teams success, performance also has to be a key factor when assessing the progression of a team. Undoubtedly some performances this year have been significantly below the standard that we expect and that Rich and his fellow coaches expect. Having said that the quality of training and preparation that is evident to anybody who attends Brantingham Park and watches the weekly sessions is of the highest standard. That training facilitated the outstanding performance at Wigan and that training facilitated the ability to create 12 line breaks against Wakefield on Friday as against their 2 against us, however as I have alluded to earlier the execution of that game plan was poor and the uncharacteristic individual errors led to a failure to capitalize on the numerous try scoring opportunities. Had those opportunities been capitalized on then I am confident we would have secured a win rather than a loss which would have led us to be reflecting on two home wins against Crusaders and Wakefield and an impressive performance albeit defeat at Wigan.
I recognise that when reading this you may dismiss my comments as what you would expect a Chief Executive to say but I would encourage you to watch the brutally honest interview from Lee Radford taken seconds after he stepped out of the changing rooms in the tunnel area of the KC Stadium, which certainly reflects his disappointment and frustration from a players perspective. You may also find David Doyle-Davidson’s comments interesting in his blog on hullfc.com which can be accessed by clicking on this link www.hullfc.com/newsarticle.aspx?n=16798 David talks from a position of authority as he spends many hours watching training at Brantingham Park and talking with players and coaches during the training sessions each season. This has been part of David’s life for decades as a player, coach and commentator of the game.
Thank you once again for taking the time to raise your opinion with us.
Regards
James
I also got this reply. I like the way he says "I wanted to personally write to you to acknowledge your email and recognise your frustrations". He did a copy and paste job on a lot of us! He probably didn't even write the fooooker!!!!

Harnessing the atmosphere at a ground is very difficult to control/manage.
Mike McKay is a Hull man and a Hull FC fan through and through. His passion and dedication are overwhelming and his style is to rouse and be loud and proud.
During difficult times we must support and make our home advantage count. Mike is improving and empathising better each and every game.
However, I can inform you that the past four announcers have all come in for lots of abuse from sections of fans and everyone can’t be pleased all the time. A lot of this is down to personal preference.
Thanks,

I'd frame that, its a rare example of a Flatman response to an email, previously thought extinct.

ATEOD they have the view that we are all stupid and generally believe this. Why else would they think they could send a few emails out all saying the same and generally make people believe what they say ?
You can see why they think we are stupid though, must be to have 10000 people constantly turning up. We all moan and groan on here but most of us will still turn up and give them our hard earned cash.
So in reality to James Rule, history tells him a few emails will calm the matter and if they get a win against Quins it would stop the Agar out brigade. After all many people were happy we threw a winning position away against 12 men Wigan.
I've said it once and I'll say it again nothing will happen whilst people turn up in there 1000's. That and the club can't afford to sack Agar due to the transfer fee's they've laid out.
