Great post but the people talking sense are now a very small minority and he will pay the price for the players just like those before him.

i think if hull sack agar rovers will go for him,they go for all fc cast offs and at least agar got us to a major final,something mr morgan hasnt done.

I'm sure you're right mate and I know you have the inside track on some of the goings on at the club.

Although the evidence may suggest otherwise, agar may well be a great technical coach, however his inability to get his team performing on the pitch, for whatever reason, means he isn't a leader in any way shape or form and that is why he isn't a SL quality coach IMO

Exactly, that is why any future coach will have hands tied, as KH runs the club/team not the coach, she needs to go, simple as, we will never attract a top coach while she is here as they will want full control of team affairs which they know they wont get.

As much as I'd like that to be true I can't see it been anything other than a rumour.

I very much doubt Agar has walked, if he does then I hope he does a warts and all interview and tells us what is going on at OUR club, many people are suggesting that it isn't all Agars fault.

McRae referred to a "cancer" at the club many years ago, evidence suggests it still exists.

Of course it isn't [iall[/i his fault. No one man can be totally responsible for the crap we've been serving up for the last three years. But whatever else has gone on behind the scenes, he has consistently failed to get the best out of the players at his disposal, and for that he must shoulder the responsibility.

I don't disagree, I am just interested (as I think we all are) to know what really goes on at FC, does Kath pick the players, does the coach have recruitment decisiond made for them?

I also seem to remember Bomber assuring us he'd get rid of the cancer. If he meant that Hetherington et al were the source of the malignancy, it seems unlikely he would have made such a statement.

Just about every coach we have had has made assurances that the "drinking culture" would go and we'd be a lot more professional.

Not so much "raising the bar" as closing it would seem to be necessary!

The point I'm making is that if the 'cancer' was the drinking culture, it seems unlikely that Kath would allow it to continue. In fact, history gives us at least some evidence that this is not the case. If the 'cancer' was Kath and the board interfering in team affairs, it seems unlikely that Bomber would pledge to rid our club of it.
