Washy's had plenty of chances. Not Agar's fault that he hasn't taken any of them.

He's cover half and rotating hooker, not replacement for Long/Horney.

He was but like i said he'll be played in 6 different positions in 6 consecutive weeks. Thats why we didnt see the best from Berro aswell.

If we have an injury Agar opts to make about 6 positional changes rather than one. Im a big fan of continuity, look at the teams at the top.

Can't believe people buy into the 'halfback cover' nonsense. Rich Horne is physically incapable of withstanding a SL season as he has proven over the last 4 years, whoever we brought in to 'cover' will play more games than him and possibly also more than Long.

On the bright side, if Obst is here to spell the hooking role with Houghton then he's a big upgrade on Washy.

He'll be rotating with Houghton at hooker, which is what we badly needed. Houghton looked knackered yesterday and is alot less effective when playing the full 80.

He won't play HB unless Long and Horne both get injured.

With the greatest of restect if you have another year with Long and Horne as last year (More than possible with the problems Horne is having) then it lots of ways that is exactly what Obst is.

As for Agar, you're talking to someone who never wanted him appointed in the first place.

He's fed qualified but the Spirit of 1873 (WTW new owners) says it frees up a quota spot for them. Surprised he isn't off-quota on residence, but tbf even if they are correct you were/are okay for quota spots.

Obst is exempt due to being in the country prior to the change in quota rules i believe.

He's always played well against us going back to his Haven days, he might be just what you need for the derby games

I'm confident they will both play more games then last year.
