Wouldn't say no to Wild either but as you've pointed out we would still be strong in the back row and would go with the same 3 as you've mentioned. Over the next couple of years I would like to see us sign a top centre, off half and half back all of really good quality.

But there are always reasons why people come over here. Money, different lifestyle for a couple of years, ambitions people can always be tempted.

Potentially we could have said he can talk to other clubs. He may have knocked back a contract waiting for more cash and we said to him he can go see what's out there.

Wild is a good player but suffers from a lot of niggling injuries imo. I'd rather let Washy & Whiting battle for the 13 jersey. It's the backs that need the money next season.

Would like Tickle to stay but I can't see it, Huddersfield will offer him a lot more than Hull can. More money, better team, better coach etc.

Not sure about Stephen Wild, will turn 30 next season, starting to pick up injuries.

Not sure about Fitzgibbon either, I think his quota spot would be used to better effect in the backs. And I would like to use Whiting at loose man.

If Tickle and Fitzgibbon did go then I think we'd have to get one replacement in. Jamie Langley would be a good signing.

Dont know if this has been mentioned on here yet but i heard a rumour the other day that robinson would be coming the otherway if tickle goes to huddersfield.

Robinson would be a good signing. More than make up for Tickle going.

Never been a big fan of Robinson, but he's another player that's improved under Brown and he seems to have had a (rather bizarre) desire to play for FC for years. Given our chronic inability to field Horne and Long at the same time, would be a more than decent signing.

I'm not sure if Robinson has ever said he wanted to play for Hull FC but I have definitely seen an interview with him (Rugby League World magazine IIRC) where he said that the KC was his favourite "other" ground.

I'm sure that he said something like he wanted to sign for Hull when he left Wigan but nothing came of it.
God knows why though, maybe he had a thing for Uncle Kath?
