All the other stuff has fook all to do with me correcting Dave about his "huge go-forward" so why would it be relevant?

Does huge go forward have to simply mean a statistical yardage? Can huge go forward not mean exactly what i said, that he takes 3 or 4 men to bring him down thus tiring their defence?

like he said there is more to RL than stat geeks, Cussack works his nuts off for the team and his play the ball is possibly the smartest in the team , and his carry due to his size means he is constantly drawing in more than 2 tacklers thus creating gaps for the dummy to run into

Well as "go forward" means going forward then yes I'd say its reasonable to assume that how far you have gone forward is a good marker of how much go forward you provide. Someone like Ogre provides huge go forward Yak has strengths in other areas.

You really need to read posts before jumping in feet first. We are specifically discussing how much go forward he brings to the team, the rest of your posts have nothing to do with it and in fact I agree with most of it.

Guess i'm of the differing view then that go forward means more than simply going forward.

Cussack in reply to your question offers a ton of things , but very few things wrong hence the coaching set up keep him in the team week in week out, maybe never going to run 50 yards with the ball thats for sure,

Intangibles like psychologically getting the team on the front foot and the amount of energy it drains out of the defenders. I'd still class that as go forward.

As oppose to go backwards.

Even if I agreed that they are part of our go forward, i'd still say Cusack doesn't provide a huge impact in those areas either.
