I usually stick up for refs - they only get to see it once, at full speed, from one angle, blah, blah, blah. How did Silverwood get that wrong though? That was abyssmal! Not even Leeds thought it was a try. At least it didn't effect the result, but its still an embarrasment to the sport.

Showed he's still up there with the best wingers in the league, despite his fitness and off-field problems. A pity his stupidity has cost him a couple more years here, where he'd have been in a much better position to have a shot at more silverware and international honours.

i look forward to his battle with Calderwood seen as they hate each other , who'd have though 2 years ago it would have been this way round

4 tries came from luck

1st try bounced through crusaders players legs, more luck than a good kick
3rd try mcguire offloads bounces off crusader back into the arms of lautiti
4th try came off the back of an unpunished ptb by bailey or buchanen
last try, well only silverdud knows why he gave that try

leeds got more luck in one match than we had all last season!

The more I practice the luckier I get

I think Crusaders will trouble a few teams this season, I expect they will win more than 4, they have a fair bit of experience in the squad with a good coach as well, I do not believe they will be wooden spoons this year.

exactly, i said if thats the standard of refereeing we have to look forward to this season god help us all. Thaler was truly awful, and that last decision when Lauititi was awarded THAT try was shocking. I know it was the video ref that awarded the try but Thaler was truly awful awful awful.
