All well and good for your off-field operations, pats on the back etc.

2 points, however:-

1. Would you have traded a slight loss for better on the field results?

2. Could you cope with another mediocre season, possibility of fans drifting away etc., as long as it meant making another yearly profit?

Of course, there is a possibility that recruitment for next year might improve results on a short term basis, but if that turns out not to be the case, do the fans feel the structures are in place to ensure the club remains in such a healthy state financially? Or is that too difficult a question in these times?

Point 1 is irrelevant as whats happened as happened.

Point 2 I'd rather do both, and I suspect if we do well (Cup Run, Playoffs etc) I dont see any reason why another year of profit shouldnt be recorded.

In answer to your questions:

1) No, we would have maybe made one playoff game, and lost money in the process, no point in that.

2) Yes, season passes are on target to exceed last years, we have recruited well and brought some talent in (finally) on the coaching side, with the combined effect of Long,Fitz and Moore we look a lot more professional, we are about to build our training facility.

Considering the season we had its a minor miracle that we have posted a profit again. Luckily some decent recruiting and culling in the off season has seen pass sales rise above last years (at current time) along with 2 decent shirts so we should also see another good season of merchandise sales as well.

Now just think if we have a good season surely the profit will rise significantly and we can further reduce our debt.
